How Help One Child sees the crisis in Foster Care, our challenge to the christian community to solve that crisis and our strategy to meet the goal to find 500 homes through 500 churches in 1000 days.

Our Challenge
Of the 2500 children who enter foster care each year in our region, 500 will need a safe, loving home. Without that the statistics are staggering:
• 46% do not complete high school
• 51% are unemployed
• 25% experience homelessness
• 20% are incarcerated by age 23

Our Strategy
For 15 years, Help One Child has developed strong ties with hundreds of churches. We have called them into action to promote awareness of the crisis, raise up new foster and fost-adopt families and build ministries of support.
