To Find Records in the Database
- Choose "Find Mode" from the "View" menu, or hit the shortcut keystroke Apple + "F"

- Enter the criteria you want to sort by in the appropriate fields and select "Find" or press "Return."

- There are several helpful find characters to know....
The wildcard character is a "*"
when you enter * any records that contain any data in that field will be returned.i.e. a * entered in the Kid's Name field will return all records with Kid's (or those who have names)

When you enter only "=" into a field and perform a find, only records for which there isn't any data are returned. i.e. you are looking for recorded deposits that do not have a Deposit Date... enter "=" in the deposit field and find

To find a rage of dates in a a date field enter the two end dates separated by "..." i.e. search on 1/1/05...1/1/06 will return dates between 1/1/05 and 1/1/06
