To Sort Records in the Database
- Choose "Sort Records..." from the "Records" menu, or hit the "Apple key + S"
- Be sure to select all the field from the Current Table, so that you can sort on fields that do not appear on the current layout (i.e. you can sort by NameSort_t which does not appear one the layout for Families)
- First select the field that you wish to sort by. Click "Clear All" to clear previous sorts. Select the fields you wish to sort by in the left window and click "Move" to move them to the right window. You can drag the items up and down to specifiy which should be sorted on first. When you're ready click "Sort."
