The Mission of Help One Child is to recruit, train and support married couples or single adults willing to provide a home or volunteer services for foster children. Help One Child is a non-profit, non-denominational, local outreach to at-risk children in the foster care system. Help One Child is a "hands-on" Christian ministry and has been embraced by over 700 churches in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties in California since 1993.
There is no requirement to belong to a church or be of a particular faith to participate in the Help One Child activities and events. All foster families are welcome whether certified through a county or a private agency. Call to attend an orientation to join our "family of families".
